The Devil's Well

is a story about possession, not by demons, but by something altogether more frightening. Charles, a young man with a limp, embarks on a solo coming-of-age trekking trip. His quest to climb to the top of Night's Edge Mountain is cut short by an accidental fall. His apparent salvation, drinking water from a long abandoned well, soon turns into a nightmare that takes him and his girlfriend Yuxin into a world filled with horror that is entirely ruled by the relationship between the hunter and its prey.

I have long been a fan of the H.P. Lovecraft and The Devil’s Well, is an homage to the early 20th century horror tradition.
